WoWSQL listed on cursor.directory

WoWSQL is installable from cursor.directory — one click adds the remote MCP URL https://mcp.wowsql.com/mcp.

Announcement

WoWSQL is now listed on cursor.directory as an installable MCP plugin for Cursor. One click installs the remote MCP config that points at our hosted endpoint.

Listing

What the plugin does

cursor.directory passes this config into Cursor on install:

{
  "url": "https://mcp.wowsql.com/mcp"
}

After install, complete OAuth in the browser the first time you use WoWSQL tools. From there your assistant can list projects, inspect tables, run SQL, and search docs — the same hosted MCP used in manual Cursor setup.

How it works (short)

  1. Open the WoWSQL plugin on cursor.directory and install.
  2. Cursor receives the remote MCP URL.
  3. On first tool use, finish WoWSQL OAuth consent.
  4. Optionally narrow access with project_ref, read_only=true, or features=… on the URL (see our Cursor MCP docs).

Why this matters

cursor.directory is a community directory Cursor users already browse for plugins and MCP servers. A public listing makes WoWSQL discoverable next to other MCP tools, without asking people to hand-copy JSON.
