We keep hardening every SDK so your app and your users stay protected. Version 3.9.3 rolls the latest security fixes into all 11 platforms, so upgrading is the easiest way to stay secure.
CAPTCHA in WoWSQL Auth with Cloudflare Turnstile
Bots and fake sign-ups are one of the most common problems for any app with user accounts. Automated scripts can create thousands of junk accounts, abuse free tiers, and fill your database with spam.
With 3.9.3, WoWSQL Auth supports Cloudflare Turnstile on sign-up and sign-in:
- Block bots, not people. Turnstile checks visitors quietly in the background, so most real users never see a puzzle.
- Verified on the server. Your app passes the Turnstile token along with the auth request, and WoWSQL checks it before the sign-up or sign-in goes through. A bot can't skip it by hiding the widget.
- Optional and simple. The CAPTCHA token is an optional parameter, so existing apps keep working, and you can turn it on when you're ready.
Why it matters
Security works best when it's built in, not bolted on. Combined with the phone OTP sign-in we shipped in 3.9.1, WoWSQL Auth now gives you strong, modern protection for your users out of the box:

How to upgrade
Update the WoWSQL SDK for your platform to 3.9.3 using your usual package manager (npm, pip, go get, Composer, Swift Package Manager, pub, Cargo, NuGet, RubyGems, Maven or Gradle).
