Understanding the Dashboard

The dashboard is your command center for managing your WoWSQL project. Let's explore its features.

4.1 Dashboard Overview

The project overview shows:

  • Project statistics (tables, users, storage usage)
  • Quick access to key features
  • Recent activity
  • Project health status

4.2 Navigation Menu

The left sidebar provides access to:

  • Database - Tables, queries, schema
  • Authentication - User management
  • Storage - File management
  • API Keys - Key management
  • Team - Collaboration
  • Settings - Project configuration

4.3 Project Statistics

View real-time statistics about your project:

  • Total tables
  • Total records
  • Storage used
  • API requests (current period)

4.4 Connect Menu

Use the Connect menu at the top of the project overview to copy everything you need to connect:

  • Project URL (https://your-project-slug.wowsqlconnect.com)
  • Anon key (wowsql_anon_...; the service role key is in Project Settings)
  • Direct connection string (postgresql://USER:[YOUR-PASSWORD]@db.your-project-slug.wowsqlconnect.com:5432/postgres)
  • CLI setup (pip install wowsql-cli && wowsql login && wowsql init --project your-project-slug)

Click an item to copy it. Open connection settings at the bottom of the menu goes to Project Settings. The overview also shows a health status for Postgres, Data API, Auth, Realtime, Storage and MCP.

While a new project is still provisioning, the overview shows a progress screen (for example Setting up Postgres) with a While you wait panel of SDK, CLI and Data API setup snippets. Dedicated projects that are queued show Waiting for capacity; a project moving from shared to dedicated shows Moving to dedicated.
